	On February 17, 2009, President Barack Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Act is intended to retain existing jobs and create new ones and provide fiscal relief to State and local governments and low-income and vulnerable households. DYCD is the recipient of ARRA Workforce Investment Act (WIA) youth and Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds. More information is below.
