Good communication skills are fundamental to success. New York City, which owes its success to the contribution of immigrants, is committed to supporting programs that help the newest New Yorkers learn English and join the civic conversation. DYCD funds a wide range of programs that share our commitment to helping immigrants develop their ability to read, write, and speak in English.
