NDA Youth Employment Programs provide young people with the training and skills they need to secure and maintain employment. Participants learn:
- Effective job search and interview techniques
- How to obtain and complete job applications
- Appropriate workplace conduct and dress code
Providers offer a number of services, including:
- Job search assistance
- Job placement
- On-the-job training
- Post-employment counseling
Participants are expected to achieve at least one of the following objectives:
- Demonstrate job-readiness skills
- Maintain employment for a minimum of two months
- Complete on-the-job training
