Services for Victims of Domestic Violence and Trafficking

Services for victims of domestic violence and trafficking include domestic violence prevention and intervention services for immigrant survivors and their families. Services aim to assist participants in securing a safe environment and stabilizing their family situation.  Eligible participants include male victims, those in same sex relationships and victims of human trafficking.

The program also helps participants attain lawful immigration status. For example, lawful immigration status may be obtained through

  • the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
  • self-petitions or applications for a U or T visa under the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 (VTVPA)
