The National Domestic Violence Hotline operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week in 170 languages connecting people in crisis to more than 5,000 sources of help in local communities across the US, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. BabyCenter L.L.C. is a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. BabyCenter delivers stage-based content to parents: enter your child’s due date or birth date, and the site will provide a personalized home page and e-mail newsletter with advice tailored to your stage.

Urban Baby was acquired by CNET Networks in 2006. It provides message boards where parents can discuss an ask questions related to parenting and their lives as parents. The site also offers local information about events occurring in New York and San Francisco.

An educational program of the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition, text4baby provides pregnant women and new moms with information they need to take care of their health and give their babies the best possible start in life. Those who sign up for the service by texting BABY (or BEBE for Spanish) to 511411 will receive free SMS text messages each week, timed to their due date or baby’s date of birth.

Career Gear is a non-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged men by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help men thrive in work and in life.

The Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a nationwide, nurse home-visiting program committed to improving the health, well-being and self-sufficiency of low income, first-time mothers and their children. The program is voluntary and free of charge.

2011 Year Of Responsible Men Campaign This grassroots cause marketing concept champions the importance of responsible men and mentors.   

The Real Dads Network This grassroots organization engages in and sponsors a variety of activities – skill-building workshops, informational seminars, networking, Father Daughter Dances, advocacy, etc. – designed to educate and encourage men to embrace their roles as dads, husbands and leaders in the context of family and community life.

The National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse provides access to print and electronic publications, and timely information on fatherhood issues.

A Call To Men challenges men to reconsider their long held beliefs about women, in an effort to create a more just society. The organization encourages change in the behaviors of men through a re-education and training process that promotes healthy manhood. A Call To Men is a project of Tides Center.

The Men’s Nonviolence Project seeks to encourage men to take an active role in ending men’s violence against women. MNP provides information, resources, and connections to inspire and support the involvement of men and boys in preventing domestic violence.

Men Stopping Violence works locally, nationally, and internationally to dismantle belief systems, social structures, and institutional practices that oppress women and children and dehumanize men themselves. In 1009, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) began funding MSV to organize and manage the first national initiative to engage men and youth in the work of addressing violence against women.

NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, Division of Child Support Enforcement New York Child Support Online

The Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) plays a key role in ensuring that non-custodial parents (NCPs) provide financial support for their children and at the same time, serves as a strong anti-poverty program. Child support can help families stay financially independent and eliminate the need for cash assistance.

The New York State Department of Labor fosters economic growth by supporting a highly skilled workforce. The One Stop Career Center system connects businesses and workers. This web site provides information to businesses and workers to help them access and better understand the workforce development system. It also presents information, technical assistance, resources and funding opportunities to help local workforce investment area staff, one-stop partners and other workforce professionals build a better workforce development system.

NY State Unified Court System/NYC Family Court. The Court hears matters involving children and families. It has the authority to make legal decisions over cases including those involving abuse and neglect, custody and visitation, domestic violence, paternity, and child support.
