Domestic Violence Prevention

Domestic Violence Awareness and Intervention

Domestic abuse, whether physical or emotional, often goes unreported.  This injustice affects not only the victim, but also the children who often witness the crime.  DYCD works with community-based organizations to empower everyone impacted by domestic abuse.  Services include:

  • legal assistance
  • counseling
  • housing services
  • long-term planning
