Neighborhood Development Area Programs

NDA Afterschool Programs are designed to help youth become healthy, responsible, and caring adults. Programs provide young people with the services and support they need to:

  • Improve academic performance
  • Enter college or an advanced training program
  • Learn leadership skills
  • Develop conflict resolution and mediation skills

Many programs also offer sports, arts, and cultural activities.

The Middle School Education and Support programs focus on academic achievement for participants in grades 6-8.

The High School Education and Support programs focus on high school youth, and promote communication, public speaking, community outreach, and conflict mediation skills.
