Teen ACTION, DYCD's Service Learning program, is part of Mayor Bloomberg's Center for Economic Empowerment anti-poverty initiative.  The program engages participants 13 to 21 years of age in meaningful service projects in their community and promotes appreciation for service and civic engagement, life-skills and critical-thinking skills, supportive relationships with caring adults, commitment to academic achievement and healthy behaviors.

The Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) is a 14-week internship program for low-income New York City young adults who are not working and in school.  The program incorporates ongoing education, as well as additional participant and employer support.

To find out about volunteer opportunities with DYCD and its funded organizations please call DYCD Youth Connect at 1-800-246-4646.
