	2012 Honors and Awards February 12, 2012 - Commissioner Mullgrav Honored at Theatreworks Gala Theatreworks USA celebrated its 50th anniversary with a gala at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Commissioner Mullgrav was honored, along with director Jerry Zaks, Lucille Lortel Foundation executive director George Forbes, Theatreworks USA board member Betty Jacobs, and Theatreworks USA marketing director Barbara Sandek. Theatreworks is America's largest professional not-for-profit theatre company for young and family audiences. DYCD has built a significant partnership with Theatreworks, facilitating the attendance of thousands of participants from DYCD afterschool programs at special summer performances of their productions.
