Youth Bureau

A youth bureau is an agency created by counties and cities, or a town or village with a total population of 20,000 or more, for the purpose of planning, coordinating, and supplementing the activities of public and private agencies devoted to the welfare and protection of youth. The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) is New York City’s Youth Bureau.
