Citywide Resumption of Regular DSNY Collection Services

January 14, 2013 is the LAST DAY for Hurricane Sandy Debris Collection.

After January 14, 2013, you are no longer permitted to place loose debris curbside for Department of Sanitation Collection and will have to hire a private collection service to remove debris.

If your home is under construction, your hired home renovation contractor must hire a private sanitation company to remove your construction debris.

After January 14, 2013, home owners who have large amounts of remaining debris to be removed must hire a private sanitation company to collect it.

Effective January 2, 2013
bulk material will be collected by the Department of Sanitation. For information about how to dispose of bulk material, see How to Dispose of Bulk Material.

Place bulky items out on your regular collection day. To view your regular collection schedule day visit HERE.

Please call 311 or visit 311 Online for details regarding NYC Parks Tree debris removal services.
