| Household Non-Recyclables |
Refuse must be put into leak-proof receptacles with tightly fitting lids or in securely tied heavy duty opaque (e.g., black/brown bag, etc.) plastic bags. (Note: Do not use blue, red or clear bags for regular refuse.) Garbage receptacles (including dumpsters) must be covered at all times with securely fitting covers/lids.

| Paper Recyclables |
Place mixed paper -- including any paper, junk mail, envelopes, newspapers, smooth cardboard, magazines, catalogs, soft cover books, and phone books -- in clear bags, or green-labeled recycling containers.
Flatten and tie corrugated cardboard with sturdy twine, or break into small pieces before placing in clear plastic bag along with mixed paper. Cardboard boxes cannot be used as receptacles for garbage or recyclables.

| Metal/Glass/Plastic Recyclables |
Rinse and place metal cans, aluminum foil products, small metal items, glass bottles & jars, plastic bottles & jugs, and beverage cartons & drink boxes in clear bags, or blue-labeled recycling containers.
