Support Services is composed of two separate Bureaus, the Bureau of Motor Equipment and the Bureau of Building Maintenance. The Bureau of Motor Equipment is responsible for all phases of fleet management, including drafting specifications, procurement, research, and development of new technology, clean air initiatives, maintenance and repair. The Bureau of Building Management is responsible for both routine maintenance and emergency repairs required for Department office buildings, repair facilities and garages.
