NYC DOT to Start Major Resurfacing Project Work Along the FDR Drive

The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is scheduled to begin a major resurfacing project along the FDR Drive, beginning Monday, July 6, 2015. Priority repair work is scheduled to occur each week from Monday to Friday during the overnight hours and continue for several months. The repairs will be done on various sections of the highway and will involve one or more intermittent lane closures each night, with at least one travel lane remaining open during resurfacing operations.

During this project, motorists should anticipate delays in the vicinity of the work zones. All work is weather dependent.

Work Zone:        Northbound section of the FDR Drive from Montgomery St. to Houston St.

Hours:                 Approximately 11:00 pm – 6:00 am, Monday – Friday (weather permitting)
