NYCDOT announced weekend lane closures, weather permitting, on the Queens Boulevard Bridge in order to support NYC Transit's main line track switch and panel replacement on the overhead Number 7 line. During the weekend starting at 12:01 am Saturday to 5 am Monday (5 am on Tuesday, February 20th), one lane in each direction will be maintained on Queens Boulevard. Additionally, Skillman Avenue between Thomson Avenue and Van Dam Street will be closed. This weekend work will commence on February 10th and continue until the end of March. Motorists should avoid the area or follow posted alternate detour routes.
