NYC DOT Presents Citywide Truck Management and Community Impact Reduction Study Project Recommendations

The New York City Department of Transportation announced today that it will conduct five separate meetings throughout the City to present the draft recommendations of the Truck Route Management and Community Impact Reduction Study. The meetings are all scheduled from 6 to 8:30 pm beginning May 23, 2006.

The schedule is as follows:

Staten Island: Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - College of Staten Island Center for the Arts, Recital Hall - 2800 Victory Boulevard.

Manhattan: Wednesday May 24, 2006 - Spector Hall Department of City Planning - 22 Reade Street, Hearing Room.

The Bronx: Tuesday May 30, 2006 - Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation - 198 East 161 Street Hearing Room - Suite 201.

Queens: Thursday June 1, 2006 - Queens Borough Hall, Community Room - 120-55 Queens Boulevard Room 213.

Brooklyn: Tuesday June 6, 2006 - Brooklyn Borough Hall - 209 Joralemon Street 2nd Floor Courtroom.

The meetings will provide an overview of the DOT's consultants' recommendations - including existing signage, enforcement and regulatory improvements.
