The New York City Department of Transportation announced the reopening of all entrances and lanes closed for the demolition of the east and west bridges over the Jackie Robinson Parkway 17.5 hours ahead of the scheduled Monday 5 am opening. All road closures and traffic regulations were returned to normal as of 11:30 am Sunday, March 19, 2006.
