NYC’s Default Speed Limit is Now 25 mph

Starting November 7, the New York City default speed limit will be 25 mph, unless otherwise posted. The DOT will be adding new speed limit signs throughout the city.

NYC’s Popular Bikeshare Program is Expanding

The Citi Bike program will double in size to 12,000 bikes and over 700 stations by the end of 2017. Citi Bike will expand in Queens, further into Brooklyn and Manhattan. Suggest where you want a station with our “Suggest-A-Station” portal!

Apply for DOT’s Bike to School Program

The Bike to School Program encourages students, families, and educators to bicycle as a safe, healthy and fun way to get to and from school. All middle and high schools in NYC are encouraged to apply.
