Big Cities CIOs

Digital Communities

Beginning in 2005, the Chief Information Officers (CIOs) of many of the larger jurisdictions in the country have convened regularly. Now formalized by Digital Communities, these gatherings provide a unique forum for CIOs from the largest cities and counties in the U.S. to privately interact in regular face-to-face meetings, and to discuss common IT challenges facing our jurisdictions. DoITT has played a key role in supporting, participating in, and often hosting this CIO Leadership Group, and will continue to engage with municipal partners across the country to share best practices and advance shared goals.
