DoITT has released an Information Services Franchise Solicitation, inviting proposals from any entities seeking authorization to install landline infrastructure within City rights-of-way for the provision of information services. Information services include many types of data transmission and interested parties are encouraged to apply. The solicitation period began October 31st, 2011 and will be open for one year. Submissions may be made at any point during the open period. Please check DoITT’s website regularly for addenda and any updates to the solicitation.
