NIOSH Releases First Cancer Report

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) released its first report about the potential role between exposure to the World Trade Center (WTC) disaster and the development of cancer as required by the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act. The report concluded that there is not sufficient scientific evidence to link cancer to WTC exposure at this time, but NIOSH will continue to review new studies as they become available.
