Program Receives Federal Grant to Aid 9/11 First Responders

A $750,000 federal grant will fund the First Responder Alliance, a partnership between the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University and Tuesday’s Children.

The First Responder Alliance offers counseling, programs in career guidance, financial management, parenting, health and wellness to 9/11 responders and their families.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration grant was facilitated by U.S. Representative Peter King.
