Wellness At Work Program

Worksite Health Promotion Programs

The WAW Program provides worksites with health promotion interventions to increase awareness, to change behavior, as well as to influence environmental and policy changes to improve employee health. Interventions aim to increase knowledge of chronic disease risk factors, to create opportunities for physical activity and healthy eating at work, to offer free smoking cessation services, to implement safety guidelines, and to create an overall structure for worksite health promotion driven by small groups of onsite coordinators.
