Free Evaluation and Treatment for Tuberculosis at Chest Centers

Chest centers provide a range of state-of-the-art tuberculosis (TB) services. Center hours are convenient and include evenings and Saturdays. All services are free to the patient and confidential.

Chest Centers no longer offers TB testing for work or school purposes except when required by law. TB testing is available at low or no cost at these facilities (PDF).

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO BE SEEN. Please call the Chest Center you wish to visit to make an appointment.

• TB Testing, Skin Testing and QFT Blood Testing (PDF)
• Chest X-ray
• Medical Evaluation for TB
• Treatment for active TB disease
• Treatment for Latent TB Infection (LTBI)
• Sputum Induction
• Social Services and Referrals
• Telephone Nursing Monitoring
• HIV Counseling and Testing
• Directly Observed Therapy
