General Information
In New York City, the reporting and several aspects of the management of tuberculosis are governed by City Health Code regulations and State Public Health Laws. These regulations and laws address topics including:
- Requirements for reporting of suspect and confirmed tuberculosis cases.
- Regulations for patients who do not adhere to required testing and treatment for active tuberculosis
- Regulations for testing of students and employees of daycare facilities and schools.
