Quality IMPACT Provider Course

The purpose of this course is to prepare stakeholders to successfully implement, support, or review Quality IMPACT CQI projects in NYC mental hygiene programs. We hope it will enable you to:

1. Understand the difference between a focus on compliance and a focus on improvement.
2. Know the principles, framework, timeframe and requirements of the Quality IMPACT CQI Projects.
3. Understand the basics of measuring improvement.
4. Implement the Plan, Do, Check, Act Cycle.
5. Relate quality improvement to evidence-based, promising and innovative practices and to better consumer outcomes.
6. Become increasingly enthusiastic about and committed to participating in continuous quality improvement.

Priority Focus Guide

The Priority Focus Guide is designed to provide additional assistance for those programs that are fulfilling their Quality Impact CQI requirements by implementing an Independent Project. The Priority Focus Guide is a work-in-progress that will have new indicators and project information added periodically.
