DURING LAST FALL'S ANTHRAX EPISODES

| The New York City Branch of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) will present the City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Public Health Laboratories (PHL) with their Award for Outstanding Achievement in recognition of their leadership, dedication and exceptional overall efforts during the anthrax events of 2001. Sara T. Beatrice, Ph.D., Director of the City's PHL will accept the award on behalf of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as well issue the meeting's keynote address on New York City's response to bioterrorism. |
