MAYOR, HEALTH COMMISSIONER TO ANNOUNCE NEW TUBERCULOSIS CASE NUMBERS IN NYC
Wednesday, March 20, 1:00 p.m. Corona Chest Center, Queens, New York
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Health Commissioner Thomas R. Frieden, MD, MPH, will announce the official number of new TB cases in 2001 in New York City. This announcement will coincide with the re-opening of the Corona Chest Center, one of the busiest Tuberculosis Clinics in the country, and with the annual observation of World TB Day. The event will take place at the Corona Chest Center located at 34-33 Junction Blvd., Corona, Queens.
