Introduction

In the aftermath of September 11^th, the Office of Training and Development of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has compiled a variety of educational materials that cover a wide range of topics which may help our citizenry in dealing with the aftereffects of this tragic event. Project Liberty New York City and the Department would like to present you with this complimentary volume.

We hope these educational materials may be of some assistance to organizations dealing with the aftereffects of the disaster. We hope that you will find time to review the materials and share with staff any of the information you judge to be useful to your organization's outreach needs and the needs of the community. You may distribute any of the articles as you wish.
