Outsourced to California Department of Public Health
T & B CELL IMMUNOPHENO-TYPING 

Specimen:

EDTA (lavender top) tube containing fresh whole blood, hold at room temperature 

Method:

Complete blood count by automated hematological analysis and T/B-cell analysis by flow cytometry.  

Turn Around Time:

1-2 days

Special Requirements:

Deliver to the laboratory within 24 hours of draw. Submission of these specimens accepted only by protocol with prior approval of Commissioner of Health.
