Certain medicine products and remedies may be harmful to your health because they contain dangerous chemicals. For example, some HMPs or remedies may contain heavy metals such as lead, mercury or arsenic, which are poisons and can be dangerous to your health.

It can be difficult to tell the difference between safe and dangerous products. A product may contain high levels of one or more heavy metals even if they are not listed as ingredients on the label. Information about some of these products is listed below:
