What Everyone Should Know
Recommendations
Weight problems occur when people eat more calories than they use in daily activity and exercise. Here are some proven tips for reaching a healthy weight:
Increase Activity -

- Get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity (such as a brisk walk) at least 5 days a week. More is even better, but any amount is better than none.
- Reduce screen-time (video, computer and television-viewing hours)
- Walk (with your children, friends, co-workers)
whenever possible
- Encourage active play-time as a family
