Join the New York City Health Department in combating obesity and making workplaces healthier for the city's employees. Obesity increases the risk of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancerall of which reduce the quality of life, increase employee absenteeism and contribute to lost productivity in the workplace. In New York City, approximately 60% of adults are overweight or obese, meaning that almost every employer will grapple with obesity-related costs.
