Vendor Permit and Tax Clearance Certificate
NYC Street Vendors must obtain or renew licenses from the Departments of Health or Consumer Affairs.  In most cases, vendors need a Tax Clearance Certificate. Clearance is given to vendors who are current on all business tax payments.

The Departments of Health and Finance work together to determine your tax clearance status before renewing your vendor's license.
