What if I did not receive my State rebate check?
Eligible owners
should receive their New York State rebate check within A MONTH after you apply.
If you have not received your rebate check, and believe you were eligible
for one, please contact Finance's Customer Assistance so we can research your case.
What do I do if there was an error on the check?
If there was a mistake regarding the name or names on the check, and you have not already reported this problem, please contact Finance Customer Assistance so we can assist in correcting the error.
What do I do if I lost my check?
If you received a New York State rebate check but misplaced it, you need to call the State Department of Taxation and Finance at 1-866-358-2511 to request a lost check form. This form is not available on any web site. It is only available by speaking with a State Tax Department customer service representative.
