Digital Tax Maps
The official tax maps for the City of New York are maintained by the Tax Map Office. Tax maps show the lot lines, the block and lot numbers, the street names, lot dimensions, and easements.
Using the Department of Finance’s Digital Tax Map (DTM) online you can access:
- Current Tax Map
- Library of Past Tax Maps
- History of Tax Map Changes
Finance restricts access to users of robots, automatic scripts and other methods that consume excessive bandwidth to download information from DTM.

DTM Release 1.0

Access History of Map
Changes
Specific Data Range
Search
When searching records in the history of tax map changes using a specific date range, the end date of the range will not be included in the search results. History of tax map changes can alternatively be searched using either a specific date range with an end date one day later than desired or using the default 'To Current Date' date criteria.
Definition of Heading
On the Detailed View of a Tax Map Change transaction, the fourth column in the expanded list of Condominium Units is currently named "Condo Unit Number". This column represents the Condominium Unit Lot Number of each unit updated in the transaction. This column heading will be renamed "Condo Unit Lot #" in a future release of DTM Online.
