It is very important for taxpayers to contact Finance if you receive a letter asking for information.  Even if a taxpayer believes Finance has sent a notice in error, it is best for the property owner to contact the agency to correct our records. Don’t delay -- interest is automatically added to unpaid taxes.  This can grow to more than the original amount due. Property taxes remaining unpaid may also be added to a Tax Lien Sale.
