Receiving Your Decision
If you appear in person at a Business Center, you will receive the Administrative Law Judge's decision right away.
Settlements
The New York City Department of
Finance has instituted a Reduced Fine Program. An offer of reduction is extended
for certain violations prior to a hearing with an Administrative Law Judge. If a
reduction is accepted the respondent waives their right to a hearing and
appeal. Participation in this program is not mandatory.
