Audit Information
A Business Tax return selected for audit is reviewed for accuracy.

The auditor may determine if additional tax is due. These findings are discussed with, and/or provided to the taxpayer.

Audit Notices
Finance is required to send written Tax Due letters, Late Payment and Audit notifications to taxpayers.

Audit Appeals Process
A taxpayer who is audited or applies for a refund and disagrees with the findings has the following appeal options:

• Conciliation Conference
• Tax Appeals Tribunal Hearing
