ECB Violation Reference Guide Part I & Part II

In June 2006, the Department of Buildings issued an ECB Violations Reference Guide to provide a general overview of Environmental Control Board (ECB) Violations. Part I, “Understanding Your ECB Violation,” answers the most commonly asked questions about these violations, the ECB process and includes a list of the 25 most common ECB violations. Part II, “Certification Requirements for the Top 25 ECB Violations” provides explanations and detailed compliance information for over 80% of the ECB violations that are issued.
