The Department of Buildings offers direct access to selected Reference Standards. The Department’s Reference Standards can be found as appendices to the 1968 New York City Building Code.

Flood Insurance Rate Map: This amendment would correct the omission by incorporating express reference of said panels into Reference Standard RS 4-4.

This amendment updates the FEMA FIRMs to incorporate a Letter of Map Amendment Approved by FEMA in the Hunts Point area of the Bronx, resulting from the placement of fill. This amendment will ensure New York City's continued compliance with and eligibility in the National Flood Insurance Program.
