DEPARTMENT OF BUILDINGS LOCATIONS RESUME NORMAL OPERATIONS AFTER HURRICANE SANDY-RELATED POWER OUTAGES

The following Department offices in Manhattan will reopen on Monday, November 5: 

• 280 Broadway
• 80 Centre Street
• 1 Centre Street 

Plan Exam Appointments: Appointments in the Manhattan office will resume on Monday, November 5. 

Missed Plan Exam Appointments: All applicants who missed appointments will be able to reschedule in the appropriate borough.

Pre-Filing & Filing: Applicants seeking to pre-file or file in Manhattan may resume doing so. Alt-2s & Alt-3s: Applicants are still strongly encouraged to file all professionally certified Alteration Type-2 and Type-3 applications through the Hub Self Service, available at www.nyc.gov/buildings. 

Development Hub: The Development Hub will be open at 80 Centre St. Please schedule appointments via nycdevelopmenthub@buildings.nyc.gov The office will have extended hours during the week of November 5. 

Manhattan Plan Exam: The Manhattan Plan Exam Office is open and applicants with missed appointments will be contacted to reschedule. The office will have extended hours during the week of November 5. 

Plumbing, Electrical & Construction Development Inspections: Any missed appointments will be rescheduled.
