Safety Registration Renewal

Step 1: Registrants can pay their renewal fees with our secure online payment portal at https://paydirect.link2gov.com/DOB-LicenseRenewal. After your online payment is processed, registrants will receive a confirmation email from noreply@link2gov.com; the subject will be Department of Buildings Payment Confirmation.

Step 2: To complete the renewal process, registrants must mail their application and supporting documents to:

Supporting Documents Include:

  • Original typewritten and notarized LIC7 Renewal Application
  • If the company has moved submit an original lease, deed, bank statement or utility bill in the company name showing the new company address
  • If insurances are expired submit insurance certificates (general liability, workers compensation, disability)
  • Original registration card
  • One 2x2 current photograph (passport size) of the registrant of record.
  • $80 per endorsement (30-60 days before the expiration date- check or money order if not making online payments.)
  • $130 per endorsement for late renewal-check or money order if not making online payments.
  • Copy of confirmation e-mail for online payments.

Step 3: Receive registration card by mail.

Note: Renewals with online payments may be considered for priority processing.

To avoid a late fee, renewal applications must be submitted 30-60 days before the expiration date indicated on the registration card.
