The Department requires professionals conducting business to obtain a Department-issued identification card.

1. Criteria

To obtain a Professional Identification Card, you must be:

• At least 18 years old

• A registered architect or professional engineer in New York State

2. Required Documentation

Submit the following documents in person to:

• Professional NYS License/Registration

• Resident Driver License, Resident Lerner Permit ID card, passport or alien registration card with photo (green card)
