Step 1: Licensees can pay their renewal fees with our secure online payment portal at https://paydirect.link2gov.com/DOB-LicenseRenewal. After your online payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from firstname.lastname@example.org the subject will be Department of Buildings Payment Confirmation. Print this email.
Step 2: To complete the renewal process, you must mail your application and the below supporting documents to:

Original, typewritten LIC8 license application;
Original Course Affidavit, if you have not completed your training course requirements by the time of your renewal;
One 2" X 2" current passport-sized photograph;
Completed Child Support Certification form;
Signed and notarized Code of Conduct Tutorial confirmation receipt; and
Copy of confirmation e-mail for online payment
$50.00 payment (only by check that includes your address or by money order).
To avoid a $50 late fee, renewal applications must be submitted 30-60 days before the expiration date indicated on your registration card.
The term of your 2014 renewal will be for 1-year; we will begin a 3-year renewal term in 2015.
