The Department’s Buildings Information System (BIS) provides the public with real-time access to Department data and information, including:

• Complaints
• Inspections
• Application processing
• Accounting information
• Periodic safety reports  
• Equipment tracking
• Trade licensing and contractor tracking

Helpful Information for Users

1. BIS access is unavailable on Sundays from 5am-10am due to routine maintenance
2. Your computer must have Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape 3.5 or higher
3. Your browser must have Java Script and Cookies turned on
