HomeBase

HomeBase is designed to help individuals and families avoid the trauma of homelessness by helping overcome the immediate problems and obstacles that could result in the loss of housing. Program services are crafted to meet the unique needs of each individual or family and to help meet the demands of maintaining a household. HomeBase has recently expanded its service citywide.

When you come to a HomeBase office, you will be assigned a case manager who will coordinate all services. Some of these services will be provided directly through HomeBase and others will be provided by our community partners. Some of the services that are available to qualified households include:

  • Family mediation
  • Landlord mediation
  • Household budgeting skills
  • Legal services
  • Short-term financial assistance
  • Mental health and substance abuse services
  • Household repairs
  • Entitlements
  • Child Care
  • Education
  • Employment
