To pay your water and sewer bill you will need your water and sewer bill account number, which may be found in the upper left-hand corner of your water bill (view an image of a bill ).

Pay Your Bill Online and Get a 2% Discount

As part of DEP’s ongoing upgrade of its customer service, DEP now offers a variety of enhancements and options for account holders through the DEP website.

  • Already registered? DEP has changed the way customers access their online payment account. All online payment users will now use the My DEP Account button, which can be found on our home page at The My DEP Account button provides customers with access to both online bill pay and automated meter reading (AMR), if AMR has been installed on their property.  Current online payment users will be asked to create a new access code when they sign in for the first time. This access code is an added level of security that will further protect our customers’ personal information.

Pay by Phone is an automated payment service for customers to pay their bills over the phone at no cost to the customer through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Payments can be made using a checking or savings account. We now accept Debit and most Credit Cards in addition to EFT. EFT will remain a "no cost or fee" transaction for customers, Credit and Debit cards will require a processing fee be added. Pay by Phone: (866) 622-8292

Use the return envelope sent along with your bill. Checks or money orders should be made payable to NYC WATER BOARD. Simply enclose your bill stub and check or money order, put a stamp on the envelope and mail to:
