Green Infrastructure Standards and Specifications
In coordination with Green Infrastructure Task Force partners, DEP’s Office of Green Infrastructure developed design standards for various types of green infrastructure that is built in city streets and sidewalks. These design standards and procedures are used by engineers, architects, landscape architects, and other city agencies to streamline the development of contract plans and drawings, and reduce the timeline and costs associated with design and approval processes. While the design standards and survey procedures are for green infrastructure in city streets and sidewalks, the geotechnical investigation procedure is also used for green infrastructure practices within a property line such as parklands and schools.
