Mayor Giuliani Announces a Reward for Information Leading to the Arrest and Conviction of Anyone Responsible for the Death of Christopher Postiglione

Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani is offering a reward in the amount of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the hit and run accident which occurred on January 11, at 09:15 AM and resulted in the death of an on duty Department of Environmental Protection worker.

Christopher Postiglione, 31, had just exited his vehicle when he was struck by a light red metallic colored Toyota Camry which was traveling east bound on Horace Harding Expressway. The vehicle had extensive damage to the windshield and the right front fender as a result of the accident. The vehicle fled the scene and the driver is identified as a young male. Mr. Postiglione was removed to New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in critical condition where, as a result of his injuries, he expired on January 21, at 05:30 PM.
